The Town of the Blue Mountains
For the 2026 Municipal Election, The Town of The Blue Mountains will be using vote by internet or telephone for
MAYOR, Deputy Mayor, Councillors, and School Board Trustees.
This flexibility can help increase participation, especially for busy families, shift workers, and those who cannot easily get to a polling station.
Electronic voting allows residents to vote:

By telephone

At any time during the voting window

You have the right to vote in municipal elections if on election day:

You are a Canadian citizen.

You are at least 18 years old.

You reside in, own or are a tenant of land in the Town of The Blue Mountains, or are the spouse of such a person
You are encouraged to confirm that you are on the Voters’ List to ensure you can vote!
The final day to use RegisterToVoteON.ca is August 12, 2026. After this date, beginning September 1, individuals can still register or update their information in person at the Town of The Blue Mountains Town Hall.
REMEMBER: You CAN VOTE in multiple municipalities - if you own property you CAN VOTE!
The Voting Period for the 2026 Municipal Election runs from October 16, 2026, 10:00 am to October 26, 2026, 8:00 pm
